Majestic Ha Giang: 3D2N Adventure with Army Open Air Jeep

If you are in Hanoi You will get picked up by night sleeper bus transfers to ha giang around 20:00-20:30 pm and arrive at Ha Giang around 3 am and will reach Ha Giang at about 3 am, where you will be accommodated.

You will be picked up from your hotel, hostel in Ha Giang, or any other agreed-upon location. 

We will cross Bac Sum Pass and go up the Heaven Gate to admire the scenery. View the twin mountains and the entire Tam Son townscape. 

The journey will continue to the town of Yen Minh, where you can stop for a nice lunch. 

After that, we’ll drive to Dong Van via the scenic Chin Khoanh pass. The entire Dong Van Karst Plateau is a significant geoheritage site in Vietnam. 

There are endless rice fields, thousands of limestone cliffs, and breathtaking views. You may see how people live in hill-tribe villages where they work on the land.  

The driver can also take you to the Chinese border and to Vietnam’s famous northernmost viewpoint. We will stop a few kilometers before Dong Van Town at the Hmong King’s Palace, a home for Voung’s family in Sa Phin. 

We’ll arrive at Dong Van late in the afternoon, just in time for a wonderful dinner after a long day of excursions. You can spend the evening exploring the town and relaxing before the next hectic day.

After a delicious breakfast, we leave Dong Van Town.

Our open-air Jeep Tour will take you to see the most magnificent part of the whole journey, located on the Happiness Road connecting the towns of Dong Van and Meo Vac, Ma Pi Leng Pass. 

The legendary pass is well known for its craggy cliffs and stunning views. It is the most ragged pass in the north, often referred to as the “King” of the passes in Vietnam! The whole road winds through the cliffs and overcomes Ma Pi Leng pass at an altitude of 2,000 meters.

To show you the full beauty of the pass, we will ride down the breathtaking Sky Path to admire the scenery of the whole valley and Nho Que River. 

From the amazing mountain viewpoint, you will be able to experience a 360°, then ride to see the panorama of Ma Pi Leng Pass and capture unforgettable photos.

Standing on the peak of the pass, you will feel overwhelmed by the majestic space of mountains and rivers.

We will continue our journey to more distant villages. From there, you will know how people live in rural areas of Vietnam.We will drive through the villages of Lung Ho, Mau Due and Meo Vac, where we will have a pit stop for lunch and drink. 

We will continue from Meo Vac Town through the mountainous trail road area of Ha Giang Province to Du Gia Village with an amazing landscape and famous village where 7 ethnic minorities live in the same village. 

You will see a colorful village and a lot of culture. Spend the night at homestay with Tay Minority Family and enjoy dinner and happy water with family. 

After breakfast and saying farewell to our homestay host, we will board our open Jeep Air and continue our adventure.

Our last day continues bringing you the magnificent sensation of nature and landscape, the journey today will lead us back to Ha Giang.

But it doesn’t mean the end of attractions! After two hours of driving, we will reach the famous Valley where you will witness amazing rice paddies and terraces. We’ll pass via Nam Cang Village and marvel at the scenery.

Some people say it looks like a fairy’s breasts! After crossing Sky Gate we will be back to Bac Me national road. 

After an adventurous ride, we will return to Ha Giang on time in the afternoon for you to catch a bus or limousine back to Hanoi, or you can take a night bus depending on your schedule and what you want to do after our tour.
