Day 1: Hanoi arrival day
When you arrive at Noi Bai Airport, our driver will pick you up from there. Arrive in Hanoi city in 1 hour. Drop you off at your hotel in Hanoi. Spend your leisure time exploring Hanoi Old Quarter.
Day 2: Hanoi countryside jeep tour | Night train to Sapa (B/L)
7:30: Depart from Hanoi City
Hop on our comfortable Jeep and head towards the urban outskirts and countryside. Cross the famous Long Bien Bridge: Enjoy the scenic ride as we cross the historic Long Bien Bridge, an iconic landmark of Hanoi.
Explore the countryside and meet friendly locals
Arrive in the countryside and meet the friendly locals living near the paddy fields.
Learn about their lives, farming practices, and their livestock including water buffaloes, ducks, chickens, and cows.
Engage in hands-on experiences and learn about traditional farming practices.
Immerse yourself in the local culture and build connections with the friendly villagers.
Visit Co Loa Ancient Citadel:
- Explore Co Loa, the ancient citadel dating back to the 3rd century BC, considered the oldest in Vietnam. Learn about the origin and mythology of the Vietnamese people and their ancestors.
- Take a leisurely walk around the village, observing the locals at work, home, or the market.
- Visit a local bonsai garden and engage in conversations with the villagers.
- Experience the charm of local entertainment with lotus fragrance tea at a traditional tea house.
Drop you off at your hotel in Hanoi.
Be ready at Hanoi Train Station at 20:00 before your departure at night.
Day 3: Sapa trekking – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van (B/L/)
Pick up at the train station when you arrive at 5:00 am at Lao Cai train station and transfer to Sapa by a tourist-shared bus.
Early check-in is possible when you arrive if the room is available otherwise we will provide you with a basic room where you can have a shower.
Start the trip at 9:30 as below:
First start of 6km of walking down to the southeast of Sapa along the side of Muong Hoa valley to Y Linh Ho village of the Black Hmong.
Continue a 2km-trekking down to Lao Chai village, through terraced rice fields to Ta Van village of the Dzay minority people.
Lunch with a local family gives you a worthwhile chance for you to learn about the local house architecture which is full of their daily lifestyles and exclusive custom.
Enjoy the landscapes…on the way. The last trek is about 2km to the bus stop in Tavan then get back to Sapa by jeep or minivan.

Day 4: Sapa Trekking – Cat Cat – Sin Chai – Hanoi (B/L)
A walk down to the South-west of Sapa (around 4 km) to visit the Cat Cat village of the Black Hmong.
Relax at the food of the stunning waterfall and the vestige of a hydroelectric power station that was constructed by the French during colonial times in Vietnam.
Enjoy a picnic lunch by the side of the river, and then next 3 km to Sin Chai, the village located at the foot of Fansipan Mountain, “the roof of Vietnam and Indochina”. From here you can enjoy huge stunning landscapes before climbing up on the way a jeep to return to Sapa.

- 7km trekking, 3km driving from Cat Cat back to Sapa. Get on the night bus to return to Hanoi.
Day 5: Hanoi – Halong Bay (L/D)
8:30 – 8:45: Pick up at the meeting point in Hanoi Old Quarter.
10:30 – 11:00: Stopover for refreshment at Pearl store, Pearl breeding place about 20 minutes.
11:30 – 12:00: Arrive at Tuan Chau harbor.
12:00 – 12:30: Transfer to Hermes Cruises. Check-in your cabin.
13:00: Enjoy a nice buffet lunch at our restaurant while the cruise goes ahead to Halong Bay.
15:00 – 16:45: Continue to explore Halong by visiting Pearl Farm Village and participate in kayaking, a must-try sports activity in Halong.
After that, visit Titov Island. Here, you will have time to climb up to the peak of Titov Island, admire the beautiful panorama view of Halong Bay, or swim, take pictures, and play on the sea.
18:00: Enjoy Sunset Party with fruits and snacks at Hermes Sky Bar.

18:30: Join the cooking demonstration: How to make Vietnamese spring rolls – traditional Vietnamese food.
19:30: Enjoy a European set-menu dinner in the restaurant on board.

Day 6: Halong Bay – Ninh Binh (B/L)
6:30: Practice Tai Chi class. Tea and coffee are served.
6:45 – 7:30: Light breakfast is served.
7:30: Visit Sung Sot cave.
9:30: Check–out time on the board.
9:45 – 10:30: Enjoy buffet brunch while the cruise transfer to the Tuan Chau Wharf.
12:00: Transfer by our driver from Tuan Chau Harbour to Ninh Binh.
Day 7: Ninh Binh full day – Hanoi (B/L)
9:45: Pick you up from your homestay in Ninh Binh.
10:00: Visiting a local family in the Tam Coc area. They are a traditional Vietnamese family with three generations living together. Here you will get the chance to see the house’s architecture and their daily life.
10:30: Leaving the family, you will take a bike and start riding to explore the rice fields and limestone mountains with a unique route.
12:00: Come back to the local family and enjoy a special lunch with the local cuisine featuring the yin-yang balance of Asian culture. After lunch, a break with a cup of tea will be served before you continue the journey of discovery Ninh Binh.
13:30: Visit Tam Coc by a small boat rowed by a local for about 1.5 hours. Known as “Halong Bay on land”, the boat trip is a nice journey along the river with the peaceful scenery of Limestone Mountains, and rice paddy if traveling during harvest season.
15:30: Arrive at Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam in the 10th century, visit the temple of King Dinh. Under the introduction of our local guide, you will get to know more about Vietnamese history.
16:30: Leave Ninh Binh and drive straight back to Hanoi.
Day 8: Hanoi – Hue city tour (B)
Fly to Hue, the ancient imperial city. Embark on a city tour that uncovers the rich history and cultural heritage of this regal destination.
8:00 – 8:30: Pick up at your hotel by car. Transfer to sightseeing by car:
- Thanh Toan Bridge
- Minh Mang Tomb
- Khai Dinh Tomb
12:30 pm: Enjoy Lunch.
13:15: Transfer to visit:
- The Citadel
- Thien Mu pagoda
Then get on the boat for sightseeing along the Perfume River to see the fishing village and Sampan on the way back.
16:30: Back to your hotel.
Day 9: Hue – Hai Van Pass – Hoi An by motorbike (B/L)
Day 10: Cycling tour to Tra Que vegetable village (B/L)
08:00: Pick up at the Hoi An hotel’s lobby and start the tour with a guide by Car or Bicycle.
08:15: On the way to Tra Que Vegetable Village we will ride a bicycle to visit Hoi An colourful central market. Here you will have a chance to interact with the local sellers and learn about the ingredients to be used in cooking lessons later and make sure your camera is handy.
09:00: Continue biking to Tra Que Vegetable Village where we will be introduced to its historical, vegetable production (see the tools used for farming: hoes, shovels, planks, rake, watering droplets …), see the vegetable samples, its useful and medicinal in use.
09:30: You will be visiting the Tra Que Vegetable Village which is famous for being green and clean, then go to the garden to make the soil, and fertilize with seaweed picked from Tra Que. Continuing to do the steps: rake the soil, to bed, water, the vegetables, and introduce ways to prevent pests during the development of vegetables.
10:30: You will be relaxing by soaked feet in the local medicinal herbs to help you relieve some diseases such as rheumatism.
11:00: Join a cooking class in the restaurant with the chef’s instructions on how to learn and make Vietnamese traditional food. You will enjoy the lunch with dishes you had prepared with the chef.
13:00: You will go to the garden and learn how to harvest the vegetable and punch it to the market for sale.
14:00: Finished the Tra Que Vegetable Village Tour and back to the hotel.
Day 11: Bay Mau Coconut Forest | Learn how to row the basket boat (B/L)
08:30: Local tour guide pick up at Hoi An Hotel, move to Cam Thanh wharf. (Cam Thanh coconut village).
09:40: Transfer to the basket and go along the Thu Bon River for reaching to Bay Mau coconut forest to admire the scenery on both sides of the river and the local people living at
10:30: Starting the journey to explore the Bay Mau coconut forest.
Learn how to row the basket boat, fish crabs, how to throw the net for catching fish
Learn how to make the hat, grasshopper rings, etc. with coconut leaves and save all memories with the green beauty of the coconut forest Cam Thanh.
You will be seen fantastic performances shaking the basket boat and throwing the net for fishing.
13:00: Lunch at the restaurant and rest on the hut or hammock or leafy house (OPTION)
14:30: The end of tours. The program may be changed depending on the weather while ensuring all the tour program sights.
